The Australian and New Zealand Podiatry Accreditation Council (ANZPAC) is an independent organisation to assess and accredit podiatry education programs that aim to graduate persons who are eligible for registration as a podiatrist and to assess the qualification and skills of overseas trained podiatrists for skilled migration to Australia or suitability to practice in Australia and New Zealand.
Competency Assessment for AustraliaCompetency Assessments are scheduled for:- 18th June 2018 at the La Trobe University in Melbourne Australia. Applications are now closed for June 2018.
- 10th December 2018 at the La Trobe University in Melbourne Australia. Applications and fees must be received by the 30th November 2018 to be included in this exam.
No extensions to these dates are available.
Podiatrists who hold a qualification from an approved program of study but have been absent from practice for a period of time may be asked by the Podiatry Board of Australia to undertake a competency assessment.
Candidates are required to submit Practical Competency Assessment Application Form The results of the competency assessment will be available within four (4) weeks of the day of the competency assessment.
On completion of the assessment you will be issued with a Certificate of Completion of Competency Assessment. This Certificate should be included with your application for registration and is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue.
The cost of the competency assessment is $2000 AUD. Candidates are advised to download the Practical/Competency Assessment Candidate Information Booklet and follow the instructions carefully.
